This Heinous Blackout
I haven’t had email or internet access for two days now (I type this from work, at 5:05 p.m.), and this heinous blackout may last for a couple more days. A simple account transfer through Comcast turns into a missing username/password fiasco, no email address on file, over an hour of being on the phone, and no service. Even though I was using their services not 50 hours ago at the apartment, somehow I’m not in their database, and I’ve stumped two different service representatives. And I’m the loser, because I’m paying for internet that I’m not getting, and I’m losing production time as well. Once I get it safely hooked up, I’ll be able to email people regularly again and then I’ll work on getting those days pro-rated.
